October Hive-Side Chat

Asian Hornets: What are they, where are they, and what do they do to honey bees?

Join us for a monthly ‘Hive-side Chat’  where our Alberta Tech Transfer Program (TTP) lead Dr. Renata Borba will cover various topics related to honey bee health, biology, pathology (and more!), through a series of engaging on-line webinars. The Hive-side Chat  will start with a Q&A session where Renata will answer some of your pre-submitted questions, followed by a presentation on the main topic and another Q&A session.

OCTOBER Hive-side Chat  special guest, Dr. Gard Otis from the University of Guelph, will be covering the topic: “Asian Hornets: What are they, where are they, and what do they do to honey bees?”. If there is a topic that you would like to know about Asian hornets, please send your questions or curiosities directly to Dr. Otis (gotis@uoguelph.ca), and he will make sure to address it in his presentation.
