Honey hair mask

We admit it, honey can be a little bit sticky. We don’t blame you if the thought of putting the sweet (and sticky) liquid gold in your hair gives you visions of a tangled mess sitting on the top of your head. But, if you have dry or damaged hair, a honey hair mask can be an excellent treatment.

A natural humectant, honey draws moisture back to the hair and seals it into the scalp, and with a coconut oil base, your hair will be left soft and shiny, with a slight scent of sugar. Talk about hair goals.

INGREDIENTS

2 tbsp plain yogurt

1 ½ tbsp raw Alberta honey

½ – 4 tbsp coconut oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, using less coconut oil for shorter hair and more for longer hair. Massage into scalp and work through to ends, leaving on for 15 minutes to an hour before rinsing well and following with shampoo and conditioner.
