2027 Breeder’s Day & IPM Workshop

Join us February 8th to 10th, 2027 for the Breeder’s Day & IPM Workshop!

Where: Heavy Metal Place, Spruce Grove, AB

Connect with beekeepers, researchers, and industry leaders to learn the latest IPM strategies and breeding practices. Our agenda features expert presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions designed to grow your beekeeping skills and knowledge.

Breeder’s Day – February 8

Discover the keys to queen breeding and stock selection with expert panels, specialists, and feature beekeepers!

IPM Workshop – February 9 & 10

Stay up to date on the latest developments in Integrated Pest Management (IPM), bee nutrition, and bee health.

Hospitality Night & Hockey Game

Get ready to trade your bee suits for hockey jerseys! We will host an ice hockey game on the arena rink for interested attendees on Monday evening, February 8th, 2027. Whether you choose to participate on the ice or support your colleagues from the VIP Area, complimentary finger foods and an exclusive bar will be available during and after the game. It is a wonderful opportunity for networking and having fun!

  • Note: Don’t forget to pack your gear if you plan on playing in the game! More details to come.
  • Complimentary Access: Admission to both the hockey game and hospitality night reception is fully included with Breeder’s Day or IPM workshop tickets.

  • Full Refund: Tickets are fully refundable if the cancellation request is made 10 days or more prior to the event date.
  • Partial Refund: A 50% refund will be provided for cancellation requests made 7 days prior to the event.
  • No Refund: Tickets are non-refundable for cancellation requests made less than 7 days before the event.
