Thrive Honey is looking to fill a Labor position
This is a full-time job – Monday-Saturday from 8:00am – 5:30 pm
Thrive Honey is located right outside of Coaldale AB, we have a passion for agriculture and commitment to supporting farmers, crops, and the land we love! Our creamed honey has no pasteurization or filtering; it is simple, raw, and honestly good honey!
Requirements:
- Cleanliness
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (50lbs)
- Repetitive tasks
- Able to work in warm conditions
- Teamwork
- Work around honeybees
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery in the extraction line
- Unload honey boxes, and keep organized at all times
- Handle production in a timely manner
- Perform all other duties as required by supervisor
- Clean the extraction room
- Mostly be helping at the farm, assembling, building helping with yards, vehicles and building maintenance.
- Work in the extraction facility during harvest.
- Mechanically incline
- Not afraid of honeybees and that would have some interest for helping in the field at time.
- Speaking Spanish is not a must but would be very valuable
Wage:
$18.50-$25.00 per hour
