Poelman Apiaries Ltd located near Fort Macleod, Alberta has the following positions available for the 2024 season:

15 Apiary Technicians (NOC84120) with a minimum of 3 years in a Canadian commercial beekeeping operation. Employment needed March through November 2024; wages starting $16.52 - $20.00 per hour(dependent on experience with a possible bonus) 40+ hours per week. Main duties include caring for honeybee colonies in the appropriate manner, disease detection and treatment, harvesting honey, beeyard and equipment maintenance and any other beekeeping duties.
15 Apiary Workers (NOC85100)experience an asset but will train. Employment needed March through November 2024, wage starting $16.52 per hour with possible bonus, 40+ hours per week. Major duties will include all aspects of beekeeping and assistance to technicians.

All wages are negotiable based on experience and productivity. Housing is available. Applicants must be able to work in presence of honeybees, all positions may require evening, night and weekend work. All applicants must be in good physical condition and able to work in a team environment. Ability to speak English and an Alberta government recognized drivers license are great assets.
